These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the bookkeeping and consulting services provided by LEIA Guide (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

 

 SCOPE OF SERVICES

 

 

We provide bookkeeping, financial record management, consulting, advisory, and related services as agreed upon in writing with each client. Specific service details will be outlined in your individual engagement agreement.

 

 

 

1. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 You agree to:

 

• Provide accurate, complete, and timely information and documentation

• Respond to requests for information within a reasonable timeframe

• Review any completed work promptly

• Maintain compliance with all legal and tax obligations

 

 

We are not responsible for errors or delays caused by missing, inaccurate, or late information supplied by you.

 

 

 

1. PAYMENT TERMS

 

 

  

Payment terms will be stated in your engagement agreement or invoice. Unless otherwise noted:

 

• Invoices are due upon receipt.

• Late payments may incur late fees.

• Services may be paused or terminated if payments are overdue.

 

 

 

1. CONFIDENTIALITY

 

 

 

 

We maintain strict confidentiality of all client information. We will not disclose any information to third parties unless required by law or authorized by you.

 

 

 

 

1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

 

 

 

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

 

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

• Our total liability for any claim arising out of our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the services giving rise to the claim.

 

 

 

 

 

1. RECORD RETENTION

 

 

 

 

We retain client records for a period determined by professional and legal requirements. You are responsible for maintaining backup copies of all documents provided to us.

 

 

 

 

1. TERMINATION

 

 

 

 

Either party may terminate services at any time with written notice. You remain responsible for payment of all services rendered up to the termination date.

 

 

 

 

1. NO LEGAL OR TAX ADVICE

 

 

 

 

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, our services do not include legal or tax advice. You should consult an attorney or tax professional for such matters.

 

 

 

 

1. CHANGES TO TERMS

 

 

 

 

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will include a revised “Last Updated” date.

 

 

 

 

1. GOVERNING LAW

 

 

 

 

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state or jurisdiction where our business is located.
